Roots and contaminations, these words tell the essence of the Menhir Salento Company, where the land meets the sea, between Maglie and Otranto, in the heart of Terra d’Otranto: a place where stone is the protagonist, at the same time is a Denomination of Controlled Origin and a symbol of a history intertwined with myth. The stones, which have marked the roots of this land, are today its fulcrum.
The image accompanying the communication campaign for the launch of the new labels is the result of a careful study, reflecting the identity and bond with the territory. The lights of Caravaggio in some shots, the tones of Renaissance painting in others, the colours and scents of the land of Otranto were the characterising elements of these images.
